EGGWASH ON BUNS

This test compared an existing traditional spraybar to the Wilevco SDA in applying an eggwash coating to buns. In 100 trays of buns, the Wilevco SDA used 1.25 gallons less of eggwash coating product. The food production facility saved wasted eggwash product, improved food safety with no residual coating on the machine after the cycle, and removed safety hazards by eliminating the overspray that the traditional spraybar had and was causing puddles and slip hazards on the floor.
